Joseph O’Maley, 17, tries not to slip and fall while rounding up turkeys for harvesting on Cibola Farms near Culpeper on November 14, 2006. The farm raised about 350 turkeys, Bourbon Red and Broad Breasted White varieties this year. They will be selling them directly to consumers from the farm and at local farmers markets in the area beginning this weekend.

Feature Hunting….The editors were down with a funny picture instead of just the standard “process shots” of guys carrying turkeys to a truck. Sometimes you take a photo that’s not great compositionally, but is just plain funny. Emotional content and body language beat out composition here (i.e. top vs. bottom)
