Kathe Smothers rides Micah, a wild Mustang captured in Nevada. Smothers adopted Micah and trained her in less than three months.

I wish she would have trained the horse I sent her in three months.I spent thousands of dollars in training fee’s and when it came right down to it, she was to afraid to try to ride him.I guess she needed the prospect of a $10,000.00 prize and the chance to be on national tv to get the job done. Honestly, the Star is so foolish. This was the second time I’ve read her lying to the paper.

This is for you anonymous. Just so we have it clear your not anonymous any more . It is funny how you can remember someone by the way they wright about someone else. It shows your way of thinking is just one sided. Know what I mean Anonymous,You went to Kathe to try and fix what other people had done to your horse, Did you ever think that it was you that made the horse act the way it Did. You should look in the looking glass and see the real person. If I remember right you got mad because you were the one who was a problem not the other people in the horses life and you did not want to listen to this .So if we look at this as a way to get back at someone for who tells the truth, your not the one telling the truth about what happen,Right. Well anonymous I think that you should be ,How did they say it in the old days you should be horse whipped For putting out that untrue story about Kathe Smothers I went anonymous because there are two side to every story

I can’t say enough about the wonderful job Kathe has done with my Horse. I went to Kathe for help after my 16 hand mare threw me twice and I was afraid to get back on her. She took a very troubled horse and turned her into a calm, happy and peaceful horse. She helped me mend my relationship with my horse, when I was considering selling her. I can’t thank Kathe enough.

To the one who said, I spent thousands of dollars in training fee`s. You must be on TV , Should I tell them what show? Not only is your acting bad ,so is your word.
I am apalled that someone would say such things about Kathe Smothers. She is a great trainer and have watched her closely for over a decade working with horses. She helped me with mine, when no one else could or would. I had a 16 1/2 quarter/arab. He was an english jumper when I got him, but I was told that he also did western saddle trail rides all the time. I went through several saddles before I found out that he had never ridden western before I got him. He bucked all the time because of the fit and weight placement of a western saddle is completley different and it was irritating him. I learned that from Kathe. She helped me retrain my horse, and by the time she was done, I was able to ride him without him rearing or bucking on me.
So say what you want, however, the proof is in the pudding. I didn’t have to pay thousands of dollars for her service either. I was fortunate enough to get her help before she had fully established herself and she helped me for free. I know that she wouldn’t be able to help me for free nowadays, but you still can’t say that it’s all about the money with her. If it was, she would’ve charged me back then.
She’s a great horse trainer and a wonderful person. You should be ashamed for trying to put the blame on someone else for your own unhappiness.

Well the show was taken off the air. So much for his acting . I think the show was Monk ,But the person in question could be ,I think his first name might start with a T . But I would not want to put myself in a law issues over saying bad things by giving his whole name . The pass is the passed and he got what was coming to him for what he said about other people anyway. As far as I know Kathe Smothers still working and doing a great job.
To anyone who reads this comment do not take it as an attack to that person it is just one person view .

Can anyone give me information where I can fine this Kathe Smothers. From what has been said in her defence . I sure could use her help with my horses.
