
Ashleie, 15, has been sexually active since 12. She wants to hand out condoms at school.

Elise Link-Taylor, 22, an education outreach coordinator for Planned Parenthood. Teaches basic sex-ed at local schools around Mid-Missouri.

Conrad, a youth pastor at Grace Bible Church. Teaches a more faith-based approach to sex-ed to young churchgoers.

Lynn, gives STD screenings and pregnancy tests to teens at Regional Health Center, "I've been in the pink for 18 years."

Michael Bielski, 33, teaches health and shop at Oakland Junior High in Columbia. His health class includes lessons on the reproductive system as well as facts about pregnancy. He follows the states "abstinence first" approach to sex-ed.

Demetria, 28, has four young children from unplanned pregnancies. She doesn't believe in contraception, and plans to teach her children abstinence.

These are some enviro ports I did for an upcoming feature on sex education in the state of Missouri. Missouri's approach to sex-education in schools is arguably the most conservative in the country. Each person featured here has a hand in the issue.
