So I haven’t been in a studio for ages. I’ve decided I want to get back into it, and get a nice portfolio together of my kind of pictures. My friend Olgamaria was down to come in and let me shoot her for fun. Playing with the basic lighting and some fun photoshop stuff, working up from there in the coming weeks. More to come…

My buddy Chainz is the photographer of UnderDolls, a suicide-girls’esque site in Panama. Anyways, came along today just to check it out. The shoot was at a shoot at a local boxing gym, where some ‘extreme wrestlers’ like ‘El Carcinero’, were also practicing. Then it all went wrong…hahah!

In Panama, people burn dolls of people they love and hate.
Top: On New Years Eve, a guy burns a doll of David Murcia Guzman, or DMG, a 28-year old Colombian scam artist now behind bars, who took locals for millions of dollars in a complex pyramid scheme in 2008.
Bottom. A Palestinian man burns a shoebox with a photo of George Bush, who he blames for supporting Israel in the invasion of Gaza.

I find the humongous billboard for Coca-Cola right next to a mural of Che Guevara mural decrying capitalism to be incredibly ironic.
Simply put, the mural of Che reads: “All of our actions are a war cry against imperialism. Revolt.” Above it, the ad of Coca-Cola reads (symbolically, not in words): “Consume our imperialist products! Conform.”
